ANIMATION
Set your story in motion
Hand-drawn animations that hit the heart as well as the brain.
Whether you're explaining a complex process, capturing lived experience, or showcasing the impact of your work - an animated explainer adds rhythm, energy and meaning. I create bespoke animations that combine thoughtful illustration with engaging storytelling.

Why animation?
Not everyone reads a report. Not everyone stays focused during a presentation. Animation holds attention, simplifies the complex and makes your message stick.
A well-crafted animated explainer helps you:
Communicate clearly across teams or departments
Share lived experience in a sensitive and engaging way
Show impact to funders or the public
Explain a process, journey or idea that’s hard to express in words
Animation offers a fresh, human-centred way to get your message across - without overwhelming your audience.
The Process
Each animation is crafted with care and collaboration. Here's how it works
We start with a conversation. I’ll listen carefully to what you need the animation to do — whether that’s explaining, persuading, reflecting lived experience or showing outcomes. We’ll talk about your audience, key messages and how the animation will be used.
1.Initial Meeting
Once we’ve agreed the direction, I’ll create a simple script (or work with yours), and sketch out a visual storyboard scene by scene. This is where we shape the tone, pace and look of the animation together.
2. Script and storyboard
3. Draft animation
I bring the storyboard to life with hand-drawn animation. You’ll receive a first draft to review, with time for feedback and adjustments.
4. Final delivery
Once approved, I add the final polishes and deliver your animation in a format that suits your platform: social media, presentations, events or internal comms.
